DCT Virtual Training - Week 8 - It wasn't us!

Thanks to those of you who joined our eighth virtual training session this morning. Another nice day, though a bit breezy for those doing the toilet roll challenge outside.

This week’s theme was ‘Olympics’, and whilst a few of us made noble attempts, we were all outclassed by Ros with her Paralympic kit from the two paralympics that she was selected for. A true legend.

The plan for the day

Part 1

The first part was 15 minutes of the usual swim.

Part 2

The toilet roll challenge - how far can you get doing a standing jump and measuring by number of toilet roll squares? We had a tie with an impressive 14 squares! Ros was again impressive and showed why she is a Paralympian.

Part 3

Then we had the scavenger hunt - loved the creativity again!

Next week

Next week we have a live bake-off challenge. Let’s see who can bake the perfect flapjacks. We can start the baking, have a swim and take a look at our goodies.

The theme has to be bake-off.
