What a season. We started with chilly water, endured weeks of rain, some mega Dovercoaster weeks and despite all of that we have seen some incredible performances. Well done to everyone. Yet again the sun shone on our end of season fun.

Sorry for such a long delay in this blog, I’ve been somewhat busy in Croatia and am writing the end of this at the airport!! What a tough week we had last week. Some real highs and lows. Our hearts fell for those who didn’t make it across and we cheered for those did. The impressive training performances also continued.

Apologies for the late blog, the weather finally took a turn for the better and I’ve been out on a relay. We already have some amazing swims to call out next weekend and I’m looking forward to that!

As for this weekend, sunshine - bring me sunshine! It was glorious!

What is it with this weather - enough already! As we move towards leaving August behind us, I hope there is a glimmer of better weather ahead. Fingers crossed! Well done to everyone playing the waiting game.
