Week 6 - alternative training

If this is your first time joining us we do a combination of getting wet (some even manage to swim!) and some other silly challenge. In this update I give the details of this week’s challenge and what you’ll need to have ready

What to have ready

As before, you will need to be in your swimming kit (including goggles & hat but not earplugs!!) with a dry robe or something to keep you warm, ready for the briefing. Be prepared to get wet in what ever form of water you can access. What you’ve all done in previous weeks is just fine - a bath, a shower, a paddling pool, a bucket & cup - whatever works for you.

A second dip is entirely optional

The theme

Consensus was that the theme should be ‘Bob the Builder’ given Mandi’s DIY exploits. Heads up for next week it is ‘Under the Sea’


The briefing

I’ll do a briefing like last weekend. I’ll give you time to chat and at 8.55 or so I’ll start the briefing at which point I’ll put everyone temporarily on mute.


The challenge

Between swims you need to get changed and complete the challenge below. You will need a cookie.

The scavenger hunt was impressive, we could do that again too.

The challenge - place a cookie on your forehead and using only your facial muscles and gravity (no hands), get the cookie from your forehead and into your mouth! If the cookie falls off, you need to start again. Question is what size cookie is best?…… I guess we’ll find out!
